Problem solving in the rearview mirror.

Sometimes the solution to your problem is as simple as looking in the rearview mirror. If we look back, a solution that has worked in the past might work again. Maybe, the last time we had this problem, we did something about it and it worked so well that we stopped doing it. We can also borrow from others. Who else has had a similar problem? Today's best ideas, are actually old ideas with a new twist. Look back and find the solution that is right for you.

Doing the same thing again?

Are you doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result? Maybe you don't need a major change, maybe you just need to tweak what it is you are doing.

You don't have to re-invent the wheel.

You don't have to reinvent the wheel each time you do something. Others have blazed that trail for you. They have shared their experiences in books and audio tapes that are available at your local library. You can also lean on others in your business. Maybe that business owner that you respect, who is also far enough away as to not compete. There are never any new ideas, just old ideas with a new spin.

Don't wait.... Act!

Don't wait... Act! If you are in a slump, waiting will not improve your position any. Don't wait for things to get better, make them better. We can make our own luck with a little action. Just like last weeks MMM, we can amplify that action with a positive attitude. Thanks for watching.

Compounding

Compounding is the marriage of present and future. We can make our sales, time, and talent compound by using a multiplyer. That multiplyer is our attitude. When we compound with a positive attitude, our desired result is larger. Give it a try.

People Pleasin'

If you want to treat a customer like a celebrity, do you bring them in throught the front door with a lot of flash and noise or do you bring them in under the radar through the backdoor and let them enjoy themselves?

Make your client or prospect feel special. Allow them to come in through the backdoor. Treat them like stars. If your customer feels like a star, then others will want to feel that way too. You want to create a wow experience for them and make it easy for them to try new products and tell others about you.

Put the big jobs in first.

Put the big rocks in first. When we are faced with all the tasks that must be done each and every day, it is best to do those big things first. Do the big things and get them out of the way. It is easier to fill in the gaps between the big things, it is harder to try to squeeze the big things into alot of little things. Give it a try.
